Hikari no Ou

The world is not what it used to be.After a devastating war, the planet is now enveloped with a black forest and dangerous pathogen. People can catch the virus and catch fire when near a natural fire source. To stay safe, humans need to hunt the black beasts, Flame Spirits, found deep in the forest.

Touko, a village girl, and Koushi, a former student, are two individuals set to change the fate of the world. Rumors of The King of Fire Hunters spread, as it is believed this person can harvest the millennium comet. Touko and Koushi's unexpected meeting might be the key to stopping the destruction of their world.
