Apocalypse Hotel
APOCALYPSE HOTEL
Summary
In a quiet Ginza where vines and dust have claimed the streets, a grand hotel still hums with orderly life. Long after Earth’s air turned hostile and people disappeared from its cities, the building’s lights remain on—maintained by a staff of service robots who treat every day like opening night.
At their center is Yachiyo, an acting manager who keeps schedules, standards, and traditions intact even as parts wear down and the world outside grows stranger. With a calm, seinen-leaning mix of dry comedy and reflective slice-of-life, Apocalypse Hotel finds warmth in routine—and tension in the question of who, or what, might someday step through the lobby doors.
