Summary
In the town of Kamisu 66, 12-year-old Saki Watanabe has just awakened to her psychic powers and is thrilled to rejoin her friends at Sage Academy, a special school for psychics. Alongside the mischievous Satoru, the shy Mamoru, the cheerful Maria, and the mysterious Shun, Saki begins to explore her new abilities. However, unease grows as she questions the fate of those who fail to awaken their powers and becomes entangled in the secrets of their society, including the ominous rumors of Tainted Cats that abduct children.
Shinsekai yori follows Saki and her friends as they navigate their roles in this supposed utopia.
