Sabikui Bisco

Bisco Akaboshi is a Mushroom Protector on a mission to find the legendary "Sabikui" mushroom - said to be the ultimate cure for a terrible rusting disease that has spread through Japan. He is joined by his giant crab Akutagawa, and the kind doctor Milo Nekoyanagi.

Milo is working hard to find a treatment for his sick sister, who has been poisoned by the rust. But the people of the ravaged world don't understand Bisco's cause, and they look down on him as the "Man-Eating Mushroom."

Despite the prejudice, Bisco won't give up. He is determined to make the world a better place, and prove that he isn't the cause of the apocalyptic disaster.
