Summary
Akane grew up watching her father bring stories to life through rakugo, a traditional form of Japanese storytelling built on voice, timing, and expression. After his career in the rakugo world is cut short, Akane decides to follow the same path and prove herself on stage.
Now a high school student, she trains under demanding teachers, studies the craft from every angle, and faces rivals who each bring their own style to the stage. As Akane works toward becoming a rakugo performer, she learns that mastering a story is not only about technique, but also about reading an audience and finding her own voice.
