Summary
Five years ago, a mysterious phenomenon known as the Global Synchronic Urban Disappearance caused a large chunk of Ikebukuro to disappear overnight. Following the catastrophe, unexplained electromagnetic anomalies called "Auroras" began to be sighted.
High school student Seria Morino was awed by the performance of idol Izumi Hinazaki at a play utilizing the "Super Material Theater," a stage designed to revitalize Ikebukuro. Inspired, Seria was scouted by Kaoru Sakakibara, the director of Alice in Theater, the troupe Izumi used to be a part of. She decided to follow Kaoru and join Alice in Theater.
On arriving, Seria was welcomed by a friendly group of girls passionate about acting. But something seemed to be off... Gekidol: Actidol Project follows Seria's journey as she pursues her dreams in the world of idols.
