Ai Narata was forced to graduate from JPX48 after a controversial incident with a male fan, and she vowed never to interact with another man again. Her talents and strong determination earned her a spot in the exclusive all-female Kouka School of Musical and Theatrical Arts. Kouka is renowned for producing the best actresses that go on to perform in the famous all-female Kouka Theatre Troupe. Despite her impressive background, Ai's aloof demeanor kept her classmates at a distance.

Sarasa Watanabe was the only one who wanted to be Ai's friend. She came to Kouka with the dream of becoming a top "otokoyaku" performer, an actress that plays traditionally male roles. Her inspiration came from seeing a Kouka performance of The Rose of Versailles when she was younger. Sarasa and Ai became roommates and partners in many of their classes, but Sarasa's lack of social awareness created tension between them.

The girls will need to work hard to succeed at Kouka, as jealousy, deceit, and the harsh realities of show business threaten to stand in their way. Will Sarasa and Ai be able to persevere and stand on the silver bridge?
