Shuumatsu Train Doko e Iku?

In the wake of a technological marvel that turned disastrous, the residents of Agano town face unprecedented transformations, with adults turning into animals and the landscape irrevocably altered. Amidst this chaos, high school student Shizuru Chikura's focus is sharpened on a more personal dilemma: the disappearance of her friend, Youka Nakatomi. Spurred by a clue suggesting Youka's presence in distant Ikebukuro, Shizuru learns to operate an abandoned train, thanks to the town's last remaining adult human, the elderly conductor Tairo Zenjirou.

Joined unexpectedly by three classmates, Shizuru steers the creaky train through uncertain territories, both physical and metaphorical. As they journey beyond their isolated community on a rail line that offers both escape and danger, the four girls confront the unknown, driven by hope, fear, and the pressing need to find Shizuru’s friend. Each mile traveled adds to their resolve and tests their courage, while the eerie transformations back home loom in their minds, raising stakes and questions about what truly awaits them at their journey’s end.
