Psycho-Pass

In the 22nd century, Japan uses the Sibyl System to maintain order by evaluating the mental state of its citizens for signs of criminal intent, known as their Psycho-Pass. Inspectors enforce the law by apprehending or eliminating those with high threat levels, while Enforcers, former Inspectors turned latent criminals, assist them. Akane Tsunemori, a young and idealistic Inspector, steps into this world with a strong desire to uphold justice.

As Akane works alongside veteran Enforcer Shinya Kougami, she discovers that the Sibyl System's judgments are not as infallible as they seem. Confronted with the system's flaws and the moral ambiguities of her role, Akane begins to question what true justice is and whether it can be achieved through a potentially corrupt system. Her journey challenges her beliefs and forces her to rethink the nature of law and order.
