Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou

Rika Furude and her group of friends live in the small mountain village of Hinamizawa. In June 1983, they welcomed a new transfer student, Keiichi Maebara, who became the only boy in their group. After school, they would have fun playing games and living their lives to the fullest.

However, Keiichi soon noticed strange behavior from his friends, like they were hiding something from him. Meanwhile, someone else was watching these events unfold and remembering similar stories that had played out before. This person realized they could use their knowledge to fix these broken worlds, but when certain variables changed, they were left with a terrifying realization: they had no idea what to expect or how to stop the tragedy.
