Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Sotsu

Rika Furude and Satoko Houjou have been inseparable friends since childhood, growing up in the small village of Hinamizawa. They spent their days playing together and having fun, creating unforgettable memories. But as they grew older, an opportunity arose for them to pursue their dreams.

Rika was eager to take the leap, and Satoko decided to join her. This choice ultimately divided them, as they started living different lives. While Rika was able to start fresh and make new friends, Satoko felt more and more isolated.

Desperate for a way to get back to earlier days, Satoko found solace in a supernatural encounter. She was then able to gain a deeper understanding of Rika, and set out to achieve the future she wanted by any means necessary.
