Tokyo Ghoul
Summary
In modern Tokyo, man-eating ghouls hide behind human faces, turning ordinary streets and quiet cafés into places filled with suspicion and fear. Ken Kaneki, a shy college student with a love of books, is pulled into that hidden world after a violent encounter leaves him changed in ways he cannot ignore.
Caught between human life and ghoul instinct, Kaneki struggles to understand what he has become while trying to survive among predators, investigators, and people who see him as neither one thing nor the other. The story blends urban fantasy, horror, and psychological drama through a tense look at identity, hunger, violence, and the fragile line between victim and monster.
