Elfen Lied

The Diclonius are a mutated species of humans with horns and telekinetic abilities, considered a threat to mankind. Captured and isolated by the government, they undergo brutal experiments. Lucy, a young and psychotic Diclonius, escapes from the laboratory, leaving a trail of bloodshed. During her escape, she is shot in the head, causing her to lose her memories. She washes ashore, where two teenagers, Kouta and Yuka, find her and take her in, naming her "Nyuu" after the only word she can say.

Unaware of her violent past, Kouta and Yuka try to help Nyuu adjust to a normal life. However, Lucy's dark side still lurks within her, and her presence brings them into the dangerous world of government secrets and conspiracies. As they navigate this new reality, they must confront the unpredictable nature of their new housemate and the threat she poses.
