Appare-Ranman!

Appare Sorrano loves to invent things! He lives in a small town in Japan and is fascinated by the idea of making machines that can cross great distances. He wants to sail across the sea, all the way to the moon!

One day, Appare and a samurai named Kosame Ishikki find themselves stranded in the middle of the sea. Luckily, a steamship comes to their rescue and takes them to Los Angeles. There, they decide to enter the "Trans-America Wild Race" to win money and get back home. But with rival racers and unknown challenges, will Appare and Kosame make it back home safely?
