Bakuman. 2nd Season

With their manga "Detective Trap" set to be serialized, Moritaka Mashiro and Akito Takagi, known collectively as Muto Ashirogi, are thrilled to be one step closer to their dreams. However, they quickly realize that serialization is just the beginning. Their new editor, Miura, though enthusiastic, is inexperienced, adding to the pressure they feel to maintain high rankings and avoid cancellation. They are also introduced to three assistants, including the experienced Ogawa, to help them with their work.

As they navigate this new phase, they attend Shonen Jack's New Year Party, where they meet other ambitious mangaka, including the genius Eiji Niizuma and the lazy prodigy Kazuya Hiramaru. With new rivals and friends, Mashiro and Takagi must work harder than ever to stay on top, all while Mashiro strives to fulfill his promise to marry his childhood sweetheart, Miho Azuki, once their manga gets an anime adaptation. The journey is filled with competition, hard work, and the pursuit of their ultimate goal.
