Uchuu Kyoudai

Mutta Nanba's life has hit rock bottom. After losing his job and moving back in with his parents, he feels like a failure. Meanwhile, his younger brother Hibito is training to be an astronaut and is well on his way to achieving their childhood dream. Inspired by Hibito's success and a bit of encouragement from his family and friends, Mutta decides to pursue his own dream of becoming an astronaut. He applies to the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and, against all odds, is accepted into the astronaut selection program.

As Mutta embarks on this new journey, he faces numerous challenges and self-doubts. However, with determination and the support of his friends and family, he begins to rekindle his passion for space exploration. Alongside newfound friends Kenji and Serika, Mutta strives to prove himself and achieve the promise he made years ago. Will he be able to surpass his brother and leave his own mark on the cosmos?
