In the 16th century, the city of Florence was alive with activity and creativity. Arte was a young woman from an aristocratic family who wanted to be an artist and help create beautiful things. But when her father passed away, she had to accept that she may not be able to do what she dreamed of. She was expected to marry a nobleman and be a housewife.

Arte refused to give up and set off to find someone to teach her the art of making things. It was difficult though, as people didn't believe that women could create beautiful things. Eventually, a famous artisan named Leo agreed to take Arte as his student and teach her how to make things. Arte had to work hard to become a master artisan and prove that she could do it.
