Summary
Set in 2242, after the cataclysmic Tears of the New Moon poisoned the earth and triggered the emergence of lethal creatures, humanity's remnants are forced to live in isolated bubble cities. These survivors rely on AO crystals for energy, collected by drifters who navigate the dangerous landscapes in armored tanks alongside combat androids known as magus. During an expedition, a hopeful drifter, Kanata, discovers Noir, an amnesiac magus with extraordinary combat skills, buried within the ruins.
Kanata and Noir form an unlikely partnership, embarking on perilous missions to collect crucial resources while exploring the mysteries surrounding Noir’s origins and the fabled city of Histoire. As they battle hostile lifeforms and unravel the secrets of their broken world, the bond between human and AI deepens, challenging preconceived notions about their roles and capabilities in this shattered new era.
