"Mob Psycho 100" follows the life of Shigeo "Mob" Kageyama, an unassuming eighth-grader with immense psychic powers. Mob’s extraordinary abilities are a double-edged sword; while they could grant him fame and admiration, the risk of losing control makes him choose to suppress them. His desire to lead a normal life sees him working under Arataka Reigen, a con artist posing as a psychic, where Mob uses his powers to exorcise evil spirits for little more than pocket change. Yet, Mob's real challenge is keeping his emotions in check, as reaching 100% emotional capacity could unleash a catastrophic psychic eruption.
