Summary
After dying while saving a child, a rough teenage delinquent is given a rare chance to return to life by working for the spirit world. As a Spirit Detective, he investigates supernatural threats in the human world, facing ghosts, demons, and youkai that pull him deeper into a hidden side of urban life.
Joined by his stubborn rival Kuwabara and the dangerous demon allies Hiei and Kurama, he grows from a reckless troublemaker into a fighter with real responsibilities. The story blends martial arts battles, supernatural adventure, sharp comedy, and shounen coming-of-age energy as the group takes on enemies that challenge both their strength and their loyalties.
