Summary

The Special Fire Force Company 8 is in charge of stopping the Infernals. These are people who have been transformed into flaming, violent creatures. People with special powers to control their flames are called pyrokinetics. Shinra Kusakabe, who can set his feet on fire, joins the Fire Force to become a hero and save lives.

However, the Fire Force is full of problems. Abnormal Infernal sightings are happening all over Tokyo, and a mysterious group has the answers to the fire that killed Shinra's family 12 years ago. Shinra is determined to discover the truth behind the burning mysteries and put a stop to the chaos.

Shinra is determined to uncover the cause behind the Human Combustion and put an end to the Infernals. He also wants to find out what happened to his family that fateful night twelve years ago. With the help of the Tokyo Armed Forces, Fire Defense Agency, and Holy Church of Sol, Shinra fights to save the lives of those threatened by the flame terror.
