Summary
Atsushi Nakajima's life takes a dramatic turn when he is expelled from his orphanage due to mysterious incidents involving a seemingly invisible tiger. Homeless and hungry, his fate changes when he saves a man named Osamu Dazai from drowning. Dazai, a whimsical and suicidal detective, and his meticulous partner, Doppo Kunikida, are investigating the very tiger haunting Atsushi. The encounter leads them to discover that Atsushi himself harbors the tiger as a mystical power within him, a revelation that thrusts him into the world of the Armed Detective Agency, an organization dealing with supernatural events that the police and military cannot handle.
Now a part of this eccentric team, Atsushi begins to embrace his newfound abilities under the guidance of Dazai and alongside a diverse group of detectives with unique powers.
