Vinland Saga

Thorfinn was born in a frozen village in Iceland. He heard stories of the legendary place called Vinland, which was said to be warm and peaceful. But his life is now as a viking mercenary in a war between England and the Danes. He was told by his father that, "Nobody has enemies," but Thorfinn knows that this is not true.

The viking mercenaries are making names for themselves and taking any spoils they can get. Thorfinn's only hope is to take revenge on Askeladd, the man who murdered his father. War and death seem to be the only paradise for the vikings.
