Summary
After losing his status, family, and home in the fall of the Kamakura shogunate, Hojo Tokiyuki survives by hiding under the protection of Suwa Yorishige. As he gathers strength in Shinano under a new name, his talent for escaping danger becomes part of a larger fight to reclaim what was taken from him.
The second season continues Tokiyuki’s historical samurai story as it moves toward the Nakasendai War, mixing battlefield danger, fugitive tension, and offbeat shounen energy. With war spreading across Japan, the young heir must rely on allies, strategy, and his unusual gift for survival rather than straightforward strength.
