Following the death of the Demon King, the world becomes a stage for the ambitious and powerful. The New Principality of Lithia emerges as a critical battleground where master swordsman Soujirou Yagyuu and his protegee Yuno, a survivor from a city ravaged by golems, enter the fray to claim the title of the new demon king. Meanwhile, Lithia itself faces threats from the Aureatia Kingdom, which seeks to undermine its stability through orchestrated raids on its trade routes, prompting Lithia's founder, Imashime of Taren, to retaliate.
