Summary
Thirty years after unknown invasive lifeforms pushed the world close to ruin, humanity survives under constant threat. In the Far Eastern island nation of Mizuho, Shiina Kuze works as a young hunter who exterminates Invasion Species while trying to protect a quiet life with her younger sister, Setsuna.
When a new incident reaches their remote island, Shiina is drawn toward EXCEEDS, a United Nations agency created to confront disasters caused by the invaders. The story brings magical-girl action into a harsher sci-fi setting, mixing super-powered combat, guns, military tension, and the drama of people living beside a fragile everyday peace.
