Summary
Ichigo Momomiya is ready to start high school and find love. When she meets the popular and handsome Masaya Aoyama, she is immediately smitten. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Ichigo asks him out to an exhibition about endangered animals.
On their date, Ichigo is struck by a mysterious light and passes out. When she wakes up, Aoyama is there and unharmed, but they must escape from a giant rat-like creature that has injured Aoyama. To save her crush, Ichigo awakes her hidden powers and transforms into a cat-like heroine. She defeats the monster and researchers Ryou Shirogane and Keiichiro Akasaka explain that Ichigo is part of the Mew Project. She is one of five girls whose DNA has been combined with endangered species to fight against the Chimera Anima aliens who want to take over the world.
Ichigo must find the rest of her teammates to defeat the aliens before it is too late.
