The war against the mysterious Abyssal Fleet is nearing a climax. Only the Kanmusu - young girls who possess the souls of warships - can fight them. The Shiratsuyu-class destroyer Shigure has been assigned to the First Striking Force, Third Section - a unit made up of the remaining few Kanmusu.
