Summary
In the world of Alcia, everyone has a number called a "Count" engraved on their body. This Count shows what their social status and power is there. If a Count ever reaches zero, the person is sent to the Abyss, a really bad place.
Hina is on a mission to find the legendary Aces, who were heroes from a war that happened 300 years ago. They have a white star next to their Count. On her journey, Hina meets Licht Bach, a masked man with a negative Count, and Nana, the owner of a tavern. Licht and Hina then battle with a military soldier and Licht reveals he has a white star next to his Count and is one of the legendary Aces!
