Platinum End

Mirai Kakehashi's life has been filled with pain and suffering ever since his family was tragically killed in an explosion. He was taken in by relatives who regularly abused him, pushing him so close to the brink of despair that he was ready to give up completely. Fortunately, he was saved when he jumped off the edge of a cliff and entered into a trance, where he met a winged being claiming to be his guardian angel. This angel, named Nasse, gave Mirai two incredible gifts and convinced him to keep living.

With these newfound abilities, Mirai was able to experience a freedom he had never felt before. He was then thrown into a battle against 12 other people, all of whom were vying to become the next God. Mirai was determined to protect his fragile chance of happiness, no matter the cost.
