Summary
After a disheartening experience at a middle school band competition, Kumiko Oumae enters high school vowing to steer clear of music. However, the pull of her school's brass band and its colorful members is too strong to ignore. With the encouragement of new friends like Hazuki Katou and old ones like Shuuichi Tsukamoto, she finds herself drawn back into the world of music. Amidst the daily trials and the shared dream of reaching the national competition, Kumiko rekindles her passion for playing the euphonium.
But the path to success is riddled with challenges. The school band is in disarray, and achieving harmony seems almost as formidable as their musical aspirations. Under the guidance of their new advisor, Noboru Taki, the band must find a way to overcome their internal discord and bring out their best performance. With each practice, Kumiko and her bandmates inch closer to making their lofty dreams a reality, facing both personal growth and collective hurdles.
