Summary
The world is at war with an alien force known as the Neuroi, and human girls with magical abilities called witches are fighting to protect humanity. In order to boost morale, retired witch Grace Maitland Steward proposes the use of music as a powerful support in battle, but her suggestion is dismissed.
Determined to prove the potential of her idea, Grace enlists the help of two witches who have already seen success as singers, Aila Paivikki Linnamaa and Eleonore Giovanna Gassion. Together, they form the League of Nations Air Force's Music Squadron and manage to recruit seven promising candidates.
One of the candidates is 14-year-old Virginia Robertson, who despite having no military experience, seems to possess an incredible power. With her help, the Music Squadron will have to find a way to use music to protect the world from the Neuroi.
