Summary
With Majin Buu defeated, Earth returns to peace, and Goku settles into family life while continuing to seek stronger opponents. That peace is disturbed when Beerus, the God of Destruction, arrives with his angelic attendant Whis in search of a warrior known as the Super Saiyan God.
Goku and Vegeta soon enter a much larger world of divine training, alien fighters, alternate timelines, and rival universes. Their pursuit of greater strength leads to martial arts tournaments and a vast battle royale where entire universes place their survival in the hands of their strongest warriors. The series combines cosmic action and powerful transformations with the playful comedy and competitive spirit of Dragon Ball.
