Summary
Across a harsh desert planet, the infamous gunman Vash the Stampede travels from town to town with an enormous bounty and a reputation for destruction.
Despite the rumors surrounding him, Vash avoids killing and often hides his skill behind a cheerful, foolish manner. Followed by insurance agents Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson, his chaotic encounters with bounty hunters and criminals gradually reveal a more serious conflict shaped by his past, his pacifist beliefs, and the violence of the world around him.
