Blue Reflection Ray

Ruka Hanari, a shy and introverted transfer student, finds herself in a chance encounter with a woman who drops a blue ring. Unable to return it, Ruka takes the ring back to her dorm, where she meets Hiori Hirahara, who also has a blue ring. Ruka and Hiori soon realize that these rings are powerful enough to protect people from their own negative emotions.

The two decide to become Reflectors, beings who can use the rings to connect their thoughts, memories, and emotions to those whose feelings waver. The blue rings are used to protect those falling into depravity by preserving their Fragments, while the red rings are used to prevent negative emotions by stealing the Fragments of those who start to develop severe woe.

As they strive to become Reflectors, Ruka and Hiori must learn to work together and become stronger so they can save not only the people around them, but also themselves from the emotions that hold them back. These pieces of human emotion usually take form as flowers known as "Fragments."
