Summary
Souma Yukihira has cooked with his dad, Jouichirou, for a long time. As a sous chef at his dad's restaurant, he has learned a lot about cooking and has made brand new dishes for customers. He wants to be better than his dad and take over the restaurant someday. But his dad is going to New York for work instead.
So, Souma goes to the famous Tootsuki Culinary Academy. Only 10% of the students there can graduate. Jouichirou tells Souma he needs to do well in school to be better than him. At the academy, there are tough classes and lots of competition among the students. Souma has to figure out how to do well if he wants to make his dreams come true. Will he be able to make it?
