Summary
After her father's murder, Ryuuko Matoi roams the land searching for his killer. Her only clue—the missing half of his invention, the Scissor Blade—leads her to Honnouji Academy, a unique and formidable high school. The academy is ruled by the ruthless student council president, Satsuki Kiryuuin, and her powerful Elite Four. In this competitive environment, Satsuki bestows special "Goku Uniforms" upon the top students, granting them superhuman abilities.
Determined to find answers, Ryuuko challenges the academy's hierarchy but is quickly defeated. Retreating to her ruined home, she discovers Senketsu, a sentient "Kamui" or God Clothes. When Senketsu awakens upon contact with her blood, Ryuuko gains immense power. Armed with Senketsu and the Scissor Blade, she sets out to confront the Elite Four, hoping to reach Satsuki and uncover the truth behind her father's death.
