Summary
Maise Higa is a sixteen-year-old whose summer days consist of working at her family's hotel. One day, she meets Ichirou Suzuki, a mysterious boy who seems to be surrounded by supernatural happenings. Through interacting with him, Maise finds herself in a world where her hotel room can turn into the deep sea and banyan trees can appear out of nowhere. Maise joins Ichirou on his journey of discovering the secrets of these unexplainable phenomena.
Together, they explore this strange new world and experience amazing things. Along the way, Maise learns more about Ichirou and why he is being followed by these mysterious occurrences. With each new journey, Maise's understanding of this alternate reality grows as she and Ichirou uncover the secrets it holds.
