Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai.
Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day
Summary
Years after a childhood tragedy left their group broken apart, Jinta Yadomi spends his high school days withdrawn from the world. His quiet isolation is interrupted when Meiko “Menma” Honma, the friend they lost long ago, appears before him as a ghost and asks for help with a wish she can no longer remember.
As Jinta reaches out to the friends who once shared that summer with him, old guilt, unspoken affection, and painful memories begin to surface. Blending school-age drama with a gentle supernatural thread, the story follows a group of teenagers trying to face the past they all avoided in different ways.
