Summary
The city of Tajimi is well-known for its Mino ware ceramics and being the hometown of Himeno Toyokawa's mother. A legendary potter, Himeno's mother sadly passed away when Himeno was only four. To keep her legacy alive, dozens of her mugs were placed in the Toyokawas' new restaurant in Tajimi.
After her father's company in Tokyo went bankrupt, Himeno moved back to Tajimi. She brought some of her mother's mugs to her first day of high school, hoping to make some friends. One of the people who took an interest was Mika Kukuri, an eccentric girl from her class. Mika introduced Himeno to the president of the Pottery Club, Tooko Aoki. Upon learning about her mother's contributions to the club and pottery art, Himeno asked her father for permission to join. He happily agreed.
Together with Mika and her childhood friend Naoko Naruse, Himeno entered the Pottery Club. There, she was able to continue her mother's work and find her own passion for the craft.
