Rail Romanesque

It's 1989, and the world has changed a lot since the end of World War II. Technology has advanced, and new modes of transportation have been created, like aircraft and gas engines. Railroads, however, have become nearly obsolete.

But a group of determined young people, called "Raillords," are determined to bring the railroads back to their former glory. The Raillords are energetic and spirited girls who act as humanoid control modules for their assigned railways. They meet in Ohitoyo City for the Raillord Summit, headed by Suzushiro from Manoka Railways.

The Raillords work together to get the railroads back on track, and usher in a "new railroad age."
