The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls: U149

Arisu Tachibana, a mature grade school student and aspiring idol, eagerly accepts an invitation to join the Third Entertainment Section, a new idol project aimed at catapulting a group of young girls to stardom. Alongside eight other girls, all under 149 centimeters tall, Arisu embarks on her journey to becoming a pop idol. However, the initial excitement is tempered by their surprise at meeting their producer—a childlike adult with no prior experience in managing idols, which leaves Arisu and her peers initially disillusioned.

Despite the awkward beginnings and a lack of experience on both sides, the producer’s authentic passion for the idol industry and his dedication to seeing the girls succeed win over the group. As they begin their training and prepare for their debut, they face numerous challenges, including staying focused despite the distractions of a charming local prince. Through hard work and the producer's unyielding support, Arisu and her friends strive to reach their dreams of performing on the grand stage, learning valuable lessons about teamwork and perseverance along the way.
