Summary
Takeru Shirogane has returned to his original world thanks to the help of Professor Yuuko Kouzuki and Kasumi Yashiro. With the help of this world's Yuuko, Takeru is determined to complete the Alternative IV project, the last hope humanity has against the alien species, BETA.
When Takeru and other cadets from the Yokohama pilot training academy test a new Tactical Surface Fighters operating system, BETA ambush them. One of Takeru's friends dies and Takeru, traumatized, flees back to the other world. There, he experiences a similar tragedy. Yuuko believes that those from parallel universes are destined to suffer the same fate. Takeru must overcome the trauma in order to protect those he loves.
