Summary
The Mizuhanome System lets people explore the human mind. A special police squad called Kura uses cognition particles left behind at a crime scene to create a virtual world in the criminal's mind. This place is called an id well. To enter it, you must have killed someone yourself.
Akihito Narihisago was a detective before he became someone who was on the wrong side of the law. He is known as "Sakaido" in the id wells and helps Kura with their investigations. He finds out that there is more going on than meets the eye.
