Summary
The worlds of Assiah and Gehenna are mirror dimensions, home to humans and demons, respectively. Here, Satan, unable to find a suitable host in Assiah to possess, sires Rin Okumura from a human mother, intending for him to become the gateway for his demonic legions. However, Rin's life takes an unexpected turn when he discovers his demonic origins after a fateful encounter with a possessed individual. This revelation not only awakens his latent demonic powers but also propels him into a conflict that spans both dimensions.
Choosing a path of resistance rather than submission, Rin decides to train as an exorcist, joining the ranks of those who combat demonic forces. Enrolled at the True Cross Academy, Rin must navigate his training while concealing his lineage, which poses a threat to his very existence and the safety of his peers. As he grows in power and understanding, Rin is forced to confront what it means to be both the son of Satan and a defender of humanity, straddling a war that could tear both worlds apart.
