Summary
Ashito Aoi is the star player of a small town's junior high school football team. He's renowned for his impressive and self-centered playing style. His team's streak in the high school preliminary tournament, however, comes to an early end when Ashito's temper causes him to be removed from the game.
Tatsuya Fukuda, a youth team coach, then offers Ashito an important opportunity. He invites him to tryouts in Tokyo to prove himself and potentially kickstart a career-changing career. Despite being surrounded by immense talent, Ashito must use all of his skills to reach his goals and show Fukuda he has what it takes to make it.
