Yoichi Isagi was close to achieving his dreams of sending his high school soccer team to the nationals. Until, in a split second, he made the decision to pass the ball to his teammate. This cost him his chance of making it to the nationals. Feeling confused and disappointed, Isagi was surprised to receive an invitation from the Japan Football Union.
Blue Lock is the project's name and its goal is to find the best potential star striker for the Japanese National Team. Isagi, one of the 300 chosen strikers for this project, must compete in solo and team competitions to reach the top. Despite any ethical objections he may have, Isagi is determined to fight his way to the top, even if it means that the dreams of 299 aspiring players will be crushed.
