Summary
Rei is in his second year of high school and is having a hard time. He plays professional shogi but also has a lot of problems in his personal life. He meets the Kawamoto sisters, Akari, Hinata, and Momo, who become like family to him. He learns that everyone has their own worries and he can rely on other people too.
Being a professional shogi player isn't easy. Rei has to play in tournaments and championships, and he meets other players who are very good. As he deals with his relationships and plays the game, he is looking for the reason why he plays it.
