Information
Summary
Tamahiko Shima, a self-proclaimed pessimist, lives alone in the mountains of Chiba. His right hand was rendered useless in a car accident that also took his mother's life, leaving him unable to live up to the expectations of his wealthy relatives. He spends his days reading and his nights filled with angst, resigned to his fate of waiting for death to come.
One night, his insomnia is interrupted by a knock at the door. He meets Yuzuki Tachibana, a 14-year-old girl who has come to be his future wife. Tamahiko remembers his father's promise to send him a bride to help with his daily life.
Yuzuki was sold as a bride to repay her family's debts, but she proves to be kind and hardworking. Her presence brings a rare breeze of kindness to Tamahiko's monotonous existence. Will he be able to appreciate it?
