Summary
Ayumu Tanaka, a first-year student, surprises everyone when he quits the Kendo Club to join the Shogi Club. Urushi Yaotome, the club's president and a master of shogi, is delighted to have someone to play with. As his upperclassman, Urushi does her best to mentor and be a role model for Ayumu. But she can't help blushing when Ayumu calls her "cute"!
At school and at shogi, the two have lots of funny and heart-warming moments. Ayumu really likes Urushi, but he won't confess until he can beat her at shogi. Will he ever get the chance to tell her his true feelings?
